I'm interested in finding out more about PS services. Who should I contact?
Contact the Marketing Team by calling 703.734.5700 and ask to speak to George Lizama or Scott Chapman, nonprofit clients or Dennis Ford, commercial clients, or by sending an e-mail to George, Scott or Dennis. Don’t worry about which one to email if you aren’t sure. We will make sure it gets to the right person.
Can I award work on a project-by-project basis?
Yes, you can partner with us on a project-by-project basis. We offer an "ease-of-use process" with a dedicated team of professionals who can adeptly become an extension of your staff. Whether you need a little bit of help or a lot, we will customize our team approach to your production needs.
How many printing presses do you own?
None! Our staff is our resource. Thus we are not bound by forcing your applications to our equipment but using the knowledge gained from 20 years in the business, a staff of over 30 production managers, relationships with more than 135 service suppliers and a proprietary Web-based bidding platform, we are able to access the best prices for your print, data processing and mailshop needs.
I'm concerned about the constant changes in the United States Postal Services (USPS) rules and regulations, rates and compliance issues I don't completely understand. How can Production Solutions keep me up to date with USPS guidelines and changes?
Because of the wide array of client programs we manage and the packages we produce, we have a deep bench of knowledge about USPS regulations. Production Solutions has been recognized as a preferred client of the USPS and has been assigned a representative within their Business Service Network. Because of this unique status, we are able to work through the most challenging issues to ensure your mailing is USPS compatible before it is presented for acceptance. Your Production Solutions team will ensure you are sorting your mail to receive the most cost effective rates for that classification of mail.
I'd like to streamline some of the production processes. How can Production Solutions help to create efficiencies for me?
A dedicated Project Manager will be assigned to your program. Guidelines also will be established-often referred to as standard operating procedures (SOPs)-and your preferences will be recorded for printing, data personalization and mailshop services. The SOPs for your projects will become part of the electronic job jacket we maintain for each project/program we manage; your preferences will be referenced from start to finish on each job. Production Solutions will manage the procurement and implementation of all project-related services from design start up to inventory management. We'll provide a weekly or daily status memo with detailed information about each of your projects so you can rest assured we will keep the project on track to the desired maildate. Because PS does all the bidding, tracking and management of jobs, you have more time to focus on other things, like strategy or other key projects.
I work with many consultants on my projects. Is that a challenge for PS to manage? Actually, many of our clients do not use one source for their design, strategy and data needs. We pride ourselves on being able to work within any construct. We are available for conference calls, status meetings-whatever the project requires. Each client and supplier partner is provided a unique FTP folder to enable the safe transfer of data, art, copy and mailplans at any point during the project life. With each appeal mailing we are challenged with the integrity of our data. We'd like to increase the level of personalization throughout the mailing but are concerned we will not catch errors.
What services does PS provide that can help with this challenge? Our sister company, Frontline Data Group, offers a proprietary file analysis service that reviews the integrity of all the fields available for personalization. In this way, we can work with you to create default logic in cases where the preferred personalization cannot be executed because the data is compromised or not available.
