Important Postal Updates
Summer Sale...

The Summer Sale specifics are still pending.
The proposal was submitted by the USPS to the Postal Rate Commission (PRC) on May 1st with a ruling expected by June 15th.  Qualified mailers may enroll in the program online, on or before
August 1, 2009, after they receive their eligibility letter, which provides registration details.  The
DMA cautioned that enrolling on the Web means
the mailer accepts the threshold as determined by the USPS.

PS is staying actively involved and updated with
any and all information regarding this scenario-we will keep you all up to date as more information becomes  available! For more information on eligibility and guidelines for the Summer Sale, please click here.
PS Recognized as a Patriotic Employer!
ESGROn a bad day in the direct mail industry, we might have poor results, lost money and long hours, to say the least.  However, we are all fortunate to come home to a roof over our heads with loved ones close by, feeling safe and secure.  But being home safe and sound with your loved ones is not something that the tens of thousands of men and women serving in our military take for granted.  Last fall, when our own Stephen Prasser got called to duty, PS didn't take it for granted either.

In addition to being an account manager at Production Solutions, Stephen Prasser is currently a Master Sergeant with the Delaware Air National Guard, in New Castle, Delaware.  With over 23 years of service, his military background also includes time spent in the US Army, as well as the Army National Guard.  Last fall, Stephen was called to duty once more and was deployed to Landstuhl, Germany for 3 months.  Here he served at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, where military members and Department of Defense civilians, who have been wounded in the war on terrorism are treated.

Stephen's transition was supported wholeheartedly by Production Solutions with vital assistance from Drew Wilson (Production Director), Ben Harris (VP of Operations) and Sue Claytor (Human Resources Consultant).  As his tour of duty continued over the holidays, Drew spearheaded an additional effort to gather donations for cards, holiday items and other goods from the U.S. for the Wounded Warrior Center Ministry, located at the hospital as well as for the USO program "Stockings for Soldiers."  In the end, over 1,000 stockings were stuffed and sent out to troops abroad to enjoy while separated from their families over the holidays.

Because of the great support that was given to Stephen and his fellow troops, special recognition was given to Drew, Ben and Sue as a Patriotic Employer from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, an agency of the Department of Defense.  Along with a pin, each received a certificate "For Contributing to National Security and Protecting Liberty and Freedom by Supporting Employee Participation in America's National Guard and Reserve Force."  Congratulations to all and Stephen, we are happy to have you back!
