I am thrilled to share my enthusiasm for the 2024 Bridge to Integrated Marketing and Fundraising Conference. This event is a highlight of the year, and two aspects particularly excite me: connection and education.
Connection
Face-to-face interactions with you, the leaders of the fundraising world, are invaluable. They allow us to support one another in meaningful ways, far beyond the limitations of Zoom calls. I am eager to sit down with you hear about the latest developments in your programs, and forge deeper connections. Additionally, I’m looking forward to enjoying time together and catching up with many of you whom I haven’t seen since last year.
Education
The educational opportunities at Bridge are unparalleled. One of the most important aspects is learning from leaders who succeed and face challenges. Often, it’s from those who struggle that we gain the most valuable insights.
I am particularly excited about my colleague and dear friend, Meredith Piemme, who will be leading a session on “Tackling Rising Costs…and Winning!” on Friday, August 2, at 11:30 A.M. This promises to be an insightful session, and I hope to see you there.
Additionally, I look forward to learning about the rapid technology changes from the opening keynote speaker, Josh Linkner, a 5-time Tech CEO. His insights will be invaluable as we navigate the evolving landscape of fundraising and marketing.
Lastly, I am excited to hear from the closing keynote speaker, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, a 6-time Olympic Medalist. Her story and perspective on being a champion in change align perfectly with this year’s Bridge tagline.
Let’s come together and be champions in change at this year’s conference. Hope to see you there!
